Tonie recently started walking/caring for our rescue dog Lucy. Lucy is a very good dog but she can be quite a stubborn walker with other people. Tonie has been extremely patient with this process. I was looking for a pet sitter for my skittish 9 year old Maltese with health issues to watch him at our home while we went to my son’s wedding. I was so thrilled that Tonie was recommended to me by a work colleague, because from the moment she met our dog, we knew that he would be great with her.  We rarely travel without our dog, Lucy. A recent (June 2019) 2 week trip to Alaska required Lucy to stay at home. I found Tonie online when I began searching for a reliable person to care for Lucy during this time. I began using Tonie’s dog walking services in January as I wanted Lucy to get to know the person who would be caring for her while we were away. Right from the start I knew Tonie was a reliable, especially caring person. She obviously loves animals and makes a HUGE EFFORT to make you and your pet feel comfortable and secure. I’m a neighbor in Warren and have a 6-year old mini dachshund, Cooper, that Tonie took care of in our home for 6 days and 5 nights. Tonie is very thoughtful to plan her time with Cooper both caring and playing with him. She genuinely loves animals and dedicated the time together to look after his needs. Cooper was happy and well cared for, just as if it was us in our home with him. Tonie was respectful to the house and it was probably neater/cleaner than when we left. She also sent photos, videos and texts during the day to alert us to his playtime mostly. (That’s Cooper’s life….fetch, balls, toys, etc).
